Although I am not a flat earth YouTuber (I only made one 1-minute video), I will place myself in this category, for sure. I can explain it quite well. These are people who have some narcissistic traits, as for example am overblown sense of self-importance. They feel feel they deserve special treatment (sometimes, as in my case, from being an only child), they feel like their opinion is more important, they like to be the center of the attention, they like talking more than other people would like to allow them to, they like to be the star, and often, no matter how polite, they get on other people's nerves. That is why I have been mistreated on some forums.
So, often what I call rudeness was just someone else's undiplomatic attempt to make me stop drawing attention to myself or their expression of annoyance for it. They have been rude and I have been polite, so it looked to me like a supreme injustice, but in part I understand them, because to them the injustice was that I was occupying more than my share of space. In other cases, it was their forum, especially if they were prima donnas themselves, they felt twice as annoyed by my stealing their spotlight.
Here's my list of flat earth YouTubers who share this characteristic with me (as usual in a descending order from most to least):
