Ja, der Jörg Haider, der war damals ganz schön kontrovers, soweit ich mich erinnere. Ich habe vergessen, wie lange er jetzt schon bei einem Autounfall verstorben ist. Muß aber schon länger her sein.

"minute 60 to about 70 He talks about the Piratenpartei
1:05:00 He mentions Bologna, repeatedly."
Thanks, that seems to be very interesting.

Funny moment with the cigarette and the burning match at the end of minute 17. He shows that answering the question to him is more important than not burning his fingers.
min. 30 question about his activity during National Socialism

Weizsaecker Richard von ZDJThis was maybe the easiest interview I have ever heard, by how clearly he speaks and slowly, and because of the subjects he discusses. Politics and his memories of the second world war and the NS time. de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_von_Weizs%C3%A4cker

Yes, thanks for the feedback. I understand what you say. ---------- Schmidt Helmut ZDJde.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeugen_des_JahrhundertsFirst 15 minutes on the NS-Zeit (the Third Reich). Helmut Schmidt und Peter Scholl-Latour bei Beckmann (2011)
These mainstream politicians are so knowledgeable and yet so ignorant (see video where they discuss Bin Laden), or lying maybe?

The unpleasant thing with talk shows and interviews, in whatever language, is that the host / interviewer kisses up to the guest(s) and forces the conversation to be superficial by continuously interrupting his guest(s) (this happens much more in talk shows). Also, you can really tell, especially with Markus Lanz, that he's doing his best to pretend he is interested, whereas he is not very much interested. "Markus Lanz" vom 15. Juli 2015 "Reinhold Messner, Joey Kelly, Patricia Kelly.." ZDFan Club Very interesting. Markus Lanz and Reinhold Messner are the two South Tyroleans (Italians) most famous in Germany. They were born less than 20 km away from one another. They are now meeting again in a German talk show. By the way, Markus Lanz is so unknown in Italy that he doesn't even have a Wikipedia entry in Italian. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markus_Lanzen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinhold_MessnerDistance of the villages they come from on Google Maps: Other guests: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Kelly_FamilyThe Kelly Family - Ares Qui Kanál uživatele Kendadepa Kelly Family - An Angel czajka1982

Günter Gaus im Gespräch mit Franz Josef Strauß (1964) Leonard Dietrich NAZI WHO GOT AWAY, MENTIONED IN INTERVIEW: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferdinand_Friedrich_ZimmermannThis Bundespraesident, also a NAZI WHO GOT AWAY, defended him: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_L%C3%BCbkeAn article on this problem: Die Mörder sind noch unter unsIt's pretty disgusting how politicians and those at the top only pretend to be clean, and Günter Gaus talks in his very polite way, pretending to be a saint, while he interviews war criminals, and treats Rudi Dutschke like shit, just because he's an enemy of the present power and he is tough on accusing some of his guests of being "opportunists", such as he does with Schmidt and Strauß, who are still both ten times better than the Bunderpraesident Heinrich Lübke, who was a Nazi himself, responsible for handling concentration camps' slave laborers. But he can't touch that one, because he's the number one in Germany, so he attacks the weaker ones and pretends he is pure -- what a total piece of shit. Politics is dirty everywhere, but what makes it even more dirty is the fact that you have such fake good manners and dishonesty to cover all this dirt. If you're the most important journalist on public television and you grill people with accusations of being "opportunists", and then the country has a bundespraesident who was a KZ administrator, then something is very wrong with the honesty of that country. It means that the law and morality only applies to the small people. And anyone at the top is beyond scrutiny. Germany back then was very much like the US today. Out of all the people you could elect for bundespraesident, did you have to choose a war criminal? What did you learn from your past, Germany? ...or maybe the NAZIS were still around, still powerful and demanded a compromised candidate that would also guarantee their rights, just as Bettino Craxi put Giuliano Amato in power before leaving for Tunisia (to avoid going to jail).
