Just wanted to mention a total solar eclipse in excess of two minutes duration will take place in the United States on 21 August 2017 according to the Gregorian calendar (which in truth will be the year 2025 from the birth of Christ as 8 years were removed from the calendar - the last country to submit to that altercation being Russia which in the year 1708 reversed eight years to 1700 by a decree of Peter Romanov whereas the Latin countries had committed to this error centuries earlier).

Dionysios, I appreciate your post about the calendar being off. Have you read much into alternate history? It was Anatoly Fomenko, and his seven volume series: History: Fiction or Science? which really woke me up a few years ago. I was already questioning many biblical doctrines but after reading about the horoscope in the book of Revelation in Fomenko, that really opened up the door for me. Evidently the book of Revelation could only have been written about 530 years ago, not 1900 plus years!
