'Flashpoint in Ukraine' compiled by Stephen Lendman is the best book I've found in English about events in Ukraine of recent years including the American backed fascist coup d'état that took over the government there a couple of years ago.

This book (online) is a history of the 1930s Nazi propaganda about an alleged famine in the Ukraine which was debunked at the time by both Soviet and american writers, but which was still adopted by the McCarthyists and part of the American media after the war.
'The North Star', a World War II american made classic movie about the Nazi invasion of the Ukraine. It obviously parallels current events since the U.S., Germany, and NATO still want to do the same thing.
