Space Station Commander gives Insight Into Life in Space NASA Interesting. As pointed out by someone at IFERS, there are a lot of dislikes on this NASA video. This could be a groundbreaking event, leading to some drastic changes, and possibly flat earth breaking into the mainstream media. Or maybe they will just remove this video and other unpopular ones. That's what I would do if I were them. By the way, NASA has only 700 thousand subscribers. That's not much at all. Pretty soon there could be a flat earther that surpasses NASA. Scott Kelley answers saying the natural floating position is kind of awkward. He shows his arms in the natural floating position, his arms hanging out shoulder level. He adds that it's also chilly. I'm not sure why his arms would hang out forward like that in space. It isn't like he is in water and his arms naturally rise to the surface where the water meets the air. |

One day a better flat earther than me, and a better video maker than me, should address the question of where the satellite dishes are pointing in our cities, which, as you may know, all point in the same direction, and certainly not towards the sky, but to somewhere on earth, and yet they are supposed to communicate directly with the satellites, which are supposed to be in the sky: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satellite_dishThere are even web sites that tell you where to point your dish according to which satellite you want to receive from: www.satsig.net/Someone more informed and skilled than me could certainly find contradictions in such data presented from these web sites. |

It's hard to believe an astronaut would be allowed, or desire, to take a Halloween mask up into space and onto the ISS. They have limited space, it's extra weight to get there, and for what, a 60 second video for Halloween? People don't wonder this?

This guy talks about the Soyuz spacecraft hitting/docking with the ISS. He is correct that there will be some displacement of the ISS due to conservation of momentum. Here are my calculations for what that displacement would be (if the ISS and Soyuz crafts were real that is): According to the conservation of momentum, the equation is M 1 x V 1 = M 2 x V 2. So let's say that the space station has a mass of 419,600 Kg and that the Soyuz spacecraft weighs 7,250 Kg, or 8,130 Kg total with the 880 Kg of fuel. And assuming that the relative speed of the Soyuz spacecraft is 1 m/s at docking, then: 419,600 * V 2 = 8,130 * 1 Therefore V 2 = 8,130 / 419,600 V 2 = 0.019 m/s or 19 mm/sec Thus the Soyuz spacecraft would transfer its momentum to the ISS station and the ISS speed would increase initially by 19 mm/sec (less with the combined mass of the Soyuz). So the overall effect is not that great. But as we know everything about the ISS is a hoax. See the following video.
