At minute 6 he shows an incredible ignorance on Flat Earth (and Round Earth) theory:
Flat Earth Phone Call Critical Unity
I find on average that flat earthers are more knowledgeable than round earthers.

dazzathecamerman +orderoverchaos That is a good question and there is a simple answer.
I am facing the ship and I am standing upright at the same angle laterally (sideways) as the ship, so it must be at the same lateral angle as me.
However, if we could accurately measure the vertical angle of the ship, we would find that the top of the ship would be tilted away from me and slightly further away than the bottom of the ship (if it was a block shaped object).
But you have to remember that at 16 miles, we are looking at only a tiny fraction of the Earth's circumference.
The circumference of the Earth is 24,901 miles (40,075 km) so 16 miles = 0.0006 of the Earth's circumference.
One degree of circumference = 70 miles (111 km). So 16 miles is only approx 0.22 of one degree. That is a tiny fraction of the curvature.
btw the field of view of my camera when zoomed in fully is very small, only approx 1.3 degrees. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- orderoverchaosOk, but you say half the boat is missing from curvature and that is noticeable to the eye. But the tilt appears unnoticeable and even lines up with the cropped picture you have.
I still have a hard time reconciling that answer with what I see in your video, along with the cropped picture of the level ship lining up with the ship beyond the horizon, where the height of the ship is cut in half.

@acenci , what do you think of this and the video? You can go on that thread if you want to as well.

@acenci, what do you think?
I will have to read this again. But I can't get passed the idea the curvature hides 100' but the tilt isn't noticeable. It seems like if the curve causes the ship to essentially be cut in half it would cause noticeable curvature?

I think it's the waves that are hiding the ship. I think if he put the camera higher, he would not have this problem. "Filming height of around 6 feet" he says at minute 5. I think it is not safe to rule out a hiding effect by the waves.

A good link from a debunker, sortsius, who says that satellites exist, and that this web site shows and explains their inclination relative to the sky (and deriving from the position of the satellite): www.dishpointer.com
